"Junior Investor" is a project that aims to introduce "Financial Literacy" to the school curriculum in the middle east. It is an ambitious project that we hope will raise the level of understanding, awareness and interest of school children starting in elementary, middle and high school targeting 8-17 year-olds. We wish to educate them on the basic principles of money handling, management and investment.
It will be made up of a series of explainer videos that are 2- 10 min long. (Each topic is tailormade to each age group and school year)
The videos will be locked in a sequential method i.e. for a video to be unlocked the student will have to view each one before the next one is unlocked
It will be a gamified process where students will collect badges, offers and virtual money as they progress to encourage them to interact with the program.
The "Junior Investor" project will also introduce a voluntary program where speakers from the business & investment field will virtually meet students at schools and present, discuss and answer different investment concepts to the students.
To qualify, the following must apply:
This program is open to any educational institution teaching elementary, middle and high school students
To enroll into the program the school has to sign up and make an annual payment on the website
Unlimited number of students can join the program
A dedicated account manager will assist the school with all the information required
Each student will be given a computer generated username and password where they can progress and learn at their own pace.
There will be an interactive element for the "Junior Investor" program such as:
Students will be able to join a FREE stock simulator and use the virtual money earned while viewing the videos as a reward
Every video viewed will earn the student a promotional offer from of our tie up market partners
A FREE app for students that will help them monitor their spending, saving and budgeting habits where it can linked to their parents/ guardian accounts
The program is not meant to have grades but rather to encourage awareness and engagement through a gamified approach.
