An Ascendant Knight, Apocalyptic Blade , will spawn right as you dunk the orb. This enemy is fairly tanky and deals immense damage with its melee swings, so keep your distance. Any Fusion Rifle with Particle Deconstruction should make short work of the boss. When slain, a chest will spawn in front of the statue you dunked the relic
Complete the Forest of Echoes mission once to unlock the Barrier Breach ability . Future runs of the mission will allow you to interact with purple markers around the level. They’ll spawn transparent, preventing use. You’ll need to charge the closest beacon to the marker to turn it opaque, allowing you to activate the mar
Once in the damage phase, the Consecrated Mind will be extremely vulnerable in its eye. It will also back up to the original starting point. Follow it and continue to do damage, as a barrier will soon spawn at the beginning of the hallway, preventing any damage from being done. The whole team can make it beyond the barrier before it spawns but should wait until the Consecrated Mind makes it beyond the next staircase. If the barrier spawns try jumping between the barrier on the left or right sides attaching to the wall to get by it. Destiny 2 ‘s Xenophage Exotic Machine Gun is a great weapon for this boss fight because it fires rapidly and puts out high damage. Contender’s Delve is another Lost Sector challenge, but this time it will have to be completed on Legend or higher. Every day, new Legend and Master Lost Sectors appear randomly throughout the system. Guardians should at least be at Light Levels 1320 and 1350 for these activities. Weapons, armor, and Subclasses cannot be switched once these activities begin. Destiny 2 ‘s Nightfall rewards have been updated to include The Comedian Shotgun and The Hothead Rocket Launcher, both originally from Destiny 1 . In the past, players could only earn one Nightfall weapon per week, outside of special double loot weeks. Now, two weapons will be available every week, not including Adept versions. Before starting the encounter, divide the team up into two teams of three. One team will become the Conflux Team, and the other is the Boss Team. There are very few roles that have to be switched up during this encounter, but for the majority of the time, these teams will be on their own. All Fireteam members will link up at this point and be tethered together through a beam, linking to a square off in the distance. The final Boss in Destiny 2’s Prophecy dungeon will continue its way down the long row of platforms and must be continuously attacked before it reaches the end. Once the Boss reaches the end of the platform it will teleport out, and the damage phase ends. The setup in the triangular room will need to be repeated in order to return to the damage phase. The most important tip to keep in mind during this phase is that the “Dark Entropy” effect will appear. It will count up to 10, and any player who has Dark Entropy x10 will instantly die. Damaging the Boss enough will prevent Dark Entropy from increasing. Additionally, one of the final Boss’s attacks is a large sphere that teleports anyone who gets caught towards the back of the path
