The first Season Challenge of week one is Wayfinder’s Voyage I, where players must use the Wayfinder’s Compass to complete the first step of the Wayfinder’s Voyage quest. Additionally, 75 Taken enemies must be defeated. The Taken enemies will be defeated as the steps of the Wayfinder’s Voyager quest are completed. While the quest itself lists 53 steps, only the first five will need to be completed. Once in the damage phase, the Consecrated Mind will be extremely vulnerable in its eye. It will also back up to the original starting point. Follow it and continue to do damage, as a barrier will soon spawn at the beginning of the hallway, preventing any damage from being done. The whole team can make it beyond the barrier before it spawns but should wait until the Consecrated Mind makes it beyond the next staircase. If the barrier spawns try jumping between the barrier on the left or right sides attaching to the wall to get by it. Destiny 2 ‘s Xenophage Exotic Machine Gun is a great weapon for this boss fight because it fires rapidly and puts out high damage. The damage phase is when the Fireteam no longer has the three teams of two. Instead, everyone should have a given area that they’re in to ensure the tether connects correctly. It’s entirely possible for the tether to connect to the wrong people, or not even cause the oracle to explode. If the tethered oracle does not explode it’s because at least one Vex was able to sacrifice on that Conflux, causing it to lose a mote. Unfortunately, the team will lose out on this damage phase. While the Conflux Team hunts for motes, the Boss Team will be following the Consecrated Mind. It will head down one of those four paths, Front, Back, Left, or Right. Once it reaches the end, the Consecrated Mind will create the Voltaic Overflow effect. In anticipation of this, each team member from the Boss Team needs to have a designated starting and rotational position, and here’s why. When the Consecrated Mind creates the Voltaic Overflow effect it will always spawn it in the center. That first center-teammate grabs the effect, and when the Consecrated Mind flashes lights the affected teammate will be able to see either the outer circles or inner circles light up red. The other two Destiny 2 Guardians see both sets of lights, so it’s up to the Voltaic Overflow teammate to communicate “inner” or “outer” for the correct lights to shoot. Shooting the incorrect ones, even once, will kill the Voltaic Overflow teamm
The new member of the Boss Team will pick up the next round of Voltaic Overflow, and by that time the original two teammates will have had their effects worn off. Continue this until the Conflux Team deposits the 30 motes, as if they’re playing Gambit , and then the Consecrated Mind will be drawn to the Conflux. At the Conflux, the Consecrated Mind will spread its appendages and have multiple red lights showing. Have the Fireteam regroup as a whole, and destroy all of the eyes to officially begin the damage phase. Don’t be too close to it, otherwise, it will wipe the t
After shooting the correct circles, the Boss Team can return to the center area and await for Destiny 2 ‘s Consecrated Mind to relocate to another hallway. They’ll repeat the same process, only this time a new member has to pick up the Voltaic Overflow. As aforementioned, picking up the effect twice before it runs out will kill the teammate. Additionally, if no one picks up the effect the whole Fireteam will wipe. There will be one point where all three members of the Boss Team have the effect, and one person needs to switch with a member of the Conflux Team – preferably the person who went third since they have the longest remaining effect t
This Seasonal Challenge requires players to gather Ascendant Anchors from both patrol destinations and the Shattered Realm. Ascendant Anchors are floating Awoken orbs that emit a Void-colored beam of light into the sky. To complete the challenge, collect 20 Anchors in patrols and 10 in the Shattered Realm.
