I needed a fresh experience to see how well “CBD for gamers” would carry me through something I didn’t already know I enjoyed. This isn’t a story about how the House of Wise Stress Tincture suddenly put me in that zone – things don’t usually work that way. I did take the first dose around the time I restarted my Pathologic 2 save file yet again, and replaying through the tutorial felt just as tedious then as it did before, but I was also able to power through it. What doesn’t leave a person with a feeling of peace, however, is the difficulty spike in Elden Ring once a player reaches the Mountaintop of the Giants . It was annoying on the game’s first playthrough and it was still annoying in New Game Plus, but after a while – and after eating a few pieces of chocolate – I realized that I wasn’t getting as frustrated as I had the first time. Some enemies still seemed overly powerful and dying occurred more often than was necessary, but it seemed to me that I was getting less irritated this time around. Even repeatedly grinding for runes on that ledge near the Lord of Blood (no shame in wanting to get that Int up for Comet Azure) didn’t feel as repetitive. According to my Twitter account it’s been just under a month since I really fell in love with Pathologic 2. It now sits solidly in my Top 10 Games of All Time list and I can comfortably say it is my favorite existential horror experience since Silent Hill 2 . I don’t think that’s because of “CBD for gamers” but I do think the House of Wise Stress Drops helped me get through that miserable third run of the game’s intro. Certain NPCs’ quest lines will force players to kill other characters in the game, such as the Volcano Manor jobs. But in other quest lines, players will have to make game-changing decisions with little information to support the options they are given. And while some of these choices can seem insignificant and even benign, the mistakes a player makes can lead to the horrid deaths of the Tarnished’s closest frie

Blaidd, as Elden Ring ‘s most tragic character , is destined to go mad because he is a Shadow of an Empyrean who chooses to not fulfill her destiny, and he thus must be put to rest. Iji, too, dies as a consequence of his own accident, as he thought that trying to hold Blaidd in an Evergaol would be the best way to both protect Ranni and keep Blaidd alive. In both of these instances, the Tarnished has little say in matters of right and wrong because NPCs are either destined to perish or have their own histories to answer
The Sage’s Cave is tucked away to the west of the Wyndham Ruins, under the cliffs, and is a good spot for those looking to test their brains. The cave rewards curiosity and lateral thinking , as is evident by the numerous detours, hidden paths, and illusory wa
